The NewBridge Laminoplasty Fixation System provides a range of implant size and positioning options. There are three plate sizes, and each provides multiple options for lateral mass positioning through slots in the plate. All sizes are compatible with the allograft strut, which is pre-shaped to fit patient anatomy as well as being slotted to fit behind the plate tab. The plate tab situates in the allograft and allows for additional stability and secure positioning on the lamina.
- Three plate sizes, each with multiple lateral mass position options
- Allograft strut increases fixation and fusion potential
To accommodate surgeon preference, NewBridge Laminoplasty Fixation System's plate holder comes in both left- and right-handed versions. One side of the plate holder has apertures that allow the lamina screws to be drilled and inserted through a single instrument. The lamina screw driver has a spring-loaded sleeve retention mechanism to ensure safe delivery.
- Plate holder enables drilling and screw insertion in one instrument
- Left- and right-handed plate holder options
- Lamina screw driver retains screws securely
By developing instrumentation unique to the particular complexities and trauma risks of laminoplasty, Blackstone gives surgeons the greatest opportunity to put the advanced features engineered into the NewBridge Laminoplasty Fixation System plate design to their advantage in the OR.
